i made a scarf. i'm in california. i never wear scarves. it's acrylic and gross. but it was fun to make!!

i'm not getting crochet. i'm missing something. i'll ask my mom this weekend, i guess, i just can't understand written instructions enough. it's frustrating because i wasted a lot of time trying and re-trying, etc., i should have been painting.

i'm going to just paint a girl with fiberoptic hair. i'm not very inspired, especially not for WORK.

after being completely defeated by crochet i went back to the knitting last night. AND i got it to go straight! i was knitting something weirdly curvy so many times, but i kept restarting and finally figured out oh, its upside down-ish...i think i can purl too but i'm not going to jumpstart myself on that before i get more rows done...yay. much easier on my wrists, too. crochet was pretty harsh.
