the pumpkin did not last until halloween. hardly even 2 days!
of course the last time i carved a pumpkin, in pennsylvania, it may very well have been snowing on halloween.
so for next time, missy: california does not have the same refrigerator-like qualities as pennsylvania and you can't carve a pumpkin in advance.
